Amy Beth O’Brien, MS
Author, Speaker, Coach

Amy is the four-time, award-winning author of Stuck with Mr. Wrong?  Ten Steps to Starring in your own Life Story and Amazon Best-Selling co-author of A Juicy, Joyful Life.

Amy’s mission is to inspire women to fully embrace and enjoy total freedom by identifying and removing the blocks that leave them feeling stuck in their love lives, careers, and personal fitness–the things which prevent them from living fully and authentically.  Her specialty is in helping people through the transition phase, or what she calls our Act Two, where we embrace change and step forward into the unknown.  She uses a fun, movie-making analogy in her approach, enabling her readers and audiences to step outside themselves and view things from a different perspective—as though they were watching their lives unfold on the big screen.  She encourages us to step into our starring roles as the leading characters of their own life stories.  She excels at helping women identify solutions that will help them move forward.

Amy has spent her career working in the field of personal and organizational development.  She earned her Masters degree in training and development from the Lesley College School of Management,  holds a B.A. in Speech Communications from Bridgewater State College, and is a Certified Career Coach.  She is a highly accomplished Training & Development Professional with 20 years of experience in consulting, curriculum design,  leadership training, and professional skills training in both the public and private sectors.  She was the Director of Learning & Development for the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and Solutions Consultant for Brainshark, Inc.

Amy spent more than eighteen years in the fitness industry as a certified instructor through the AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America), Certified Personal Trainer through FRA (Fitness Resource Associates), and is a Certified Mind-Body Yoga Instructor.  She draws on her background in professional development, career coaching, and mind-body fitness to present a holistic approach to dealing with change, managing transition, and achieving success.
